When I started doing Tucson boudoir photos I was already 7 years into building my boudoir brand. So that means that yes I have been doing boudoir photos for 15 years! It’s the piece of my photography business that I began first, and it’s always been near and dear to my heart, because my original intent for boudoir photos was for them to be for EVERY woman, and for them to be REAL, which is why I named the brand Real Women, and even trademarked the term Real Women Photography (yes it is still a registered trademark so if you see it anywhere else, you’ll know I was the one who came up with it first!). But I digress. My intent was for women to do boudoir sessions for themselves, with a happy byproduct of having something to gift to someone else. Hence, Tucson boudoir for single ladies.

Perhaps you’re thinking “well that’s silly”, why would I want to do a boudoir session if I don’t have someone to gift it to? The best answer? You gift it to yourself. The purpose of Tucson boudoir for single ladies, or any lady, or any man (because yes I offer dudedoir or male boudoir sessions also) is to help you see yourself through new eyes, to see that you ARE beautiful, just as you are. Yes, of course we put work into helping you look like the best version of you – lighting, posing, right clothing choices, some softening of cellulite and such, but I don’t nip and tuck you, I don’t edit out your true you, I just show you a version that I hope empowers you to be proud of the body you have. Because sometimes we fight SO hard against our own bodies that we lose sight of the beauty we have within, and without.

So I would encourage you, especially if you are in a transition moment, mentally, physically, emotionally, relationship-ally, to think about booking a Tucson boudoir session, especially if you’re single. Because seeing yourself through new eyes, artistically, can help you see the world through those new eyes as well. It can be empowering. It can be transformational. It can be emotional.
