While outdoor maternity photos are very popular, especially in Orange County, in the Tucson desert, in the Phoenix desert and along the coastline of Southern California, I do have a home studio and I do love doing maternity boudoir sessions in my studio. Studio maternity boudoir sessions can include fabrics that show movement and flow, lingerie like traditional boudoir, partial unclothed images, and also a spouse can be incorporated into the studio maternity boudoir session. There are lots of options and we can customize the session to your comfort!
Often studio boudoir is a mixture of white, light and airy backdrops and darker backdrops that show better contrast and allow for shaping with shadows and light.
I have several maternity dresses and lots of colorful see through and solid satin fabrics that you can choose from for the best effect. Sometimes I even bring a fan into the session to show more movement in the fabrics.
Whatever you decide to do, I promise you’ll love the result!
